In each of these 2 conté drawings, two black figures float on the page. They are drawings that require a great deal of focus to make just the lines that are necessary and no more. There is no undoing what lands on the page.

These are drawings from before I was diagnosed with a muscular degenerative disease but which resonate now with my self-image of the body and also with the need to use 2 walking sticks to keep from falling.
